My timetable for week 4

Bill Nagelkerke visits Rimu

On Monday, 14-8-2017, we had a visit from the author, Bill Nagelkerke, who told us about what to do write good stories, how hard it is to write one, and what he did with writing in his childhood.

I learned a lot from him at this visit and I really enjoyed it, especially when he did a magic trick.

William Pike visits Rimu!

On the 9th of august, 2017, William Pike was coming over to our school at 2:00pm and we were getting ready for his arrival. Well... Base and I were getting ready for William's arrival, we made slide-show of what we have done so far at WPCA this year (we did rope climbing and sailing so far) & we also mentioned last year some people did it too, as well as that Base & I are the william pike leaders in our school.

When he arrived, we were told to greet him and to lead him into our classroom, then he talked to our classroom & I ChromeCasted my slideshow onto the television screen & showed the photo reel of our activities that we have done so far.  Then it was time for Base and I to lead William outside so he leave.

young adult book awards ceremony

At the 7th of august, 2017, my class and I left school at 9:00am & went to Saint Margret's college to attend a book awards ceremony. my favourite authors were Dr Simon Cowell (author for the book called 'Genius of Bugs' a new book released this year.) & David Elliot (author of a remastered poem book called 'SNARK', a new book released this year.).

After all the authors finished talking and answering questions, we had to leave at 1:00pm and got on our bus. I really enjoyed the trip and I hope you've enjoyed this blog, please comment down below. Anyway, thanks for watching!

Wednesday Rugby & Netball zones

On Wednesday, most of my class (including me) were going to zones & we had to climb into a bus.

We stopped at our first stop & our Rugby team walked out of the bus, we later dropped of our yr5-6 Netball team, then finally my yr7-8 Netball team were dropped at Rolleston College.

My team's matches were just fine until it started raining at the start of the 3rd match and my right hand went numb. After the match we had to place our bags inside the school building, lator we got out in the rain again for the final game. 

I had to find a way to keep my bag dry outside in the rain, so I zipped it up on a fence.

After the last game, my hair was drenched! We went to the bus, went to pick up our other Netball team and our Rugby team, then went back to school.
